What steps can we take to ensure that technology and innovation serve to unify rather than divide us?

We can ensure that the tech that we use in AI doesn't turn against us by NOT CREATING MORE AI!

While technology could easily be turned against a group or manipulated, it shouldn't stop to the progression and improvement of tech. Non-learning AI will inherently never be able to turn against us by design. Why limit something that can help?

Place restrictions/limitations on them. Not let them be used totally for one or more things, but a useful second hand option when needed.

Humans are greedy and systems need to be in place to control how we act.
